頂新前董事長魏應充10日，才剛在彰化地院第三度獲得交保，11日又因黑心油案到台北地院應訊，法官後來發現魏應充有新加坡居留權，檢方擔心他逃亡，要求法官提高保金或羈押，法官最後裁定再加保3億元保金，且另需有人保10億。
魏應充聞訊當場臉色鐵青，庭訊結束後被帶到候審室等待交保，魏應充立刻指示律師團，匯款3億元到北院，而人保則是需要有人幫他繳交10億，或是能提出10億元財力證明，期限在11日下午5時前。
4個小時之後，於下午3時50分，魏應充的二哥魏應交，趕到法院擔任人保，並簽下保證書後立刻離去，沒有與魏應充一同離開。另外，同案被告、頂新前總經理常梅峰也加保1000萬元。
